My name is Tammy and I have
been breeding Lady Gouldian
finches for a few years now.
I started out with Lady
Gouldians because of my love for
birds. I decided to breed Lady
Gouldian Finches to be able to
share my love of this beautiful creature with others!
A little background on myself...I am a small breeder located in northern Illinois. I have lived in Illinois for only 8 years now. Previous to that I lived in Wisconsin where the majority of my family resides. In addition to my birds, I also have 3 wonderful boys ranging in age from 5-13 years old. We also have a passion for Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs. We currently have two of them - Zeus who is 6 years old, and our pup - Apollo who is one year old.
I decided to go into the breeding of Lady Gouldian finches when our youngest two children were born. I had previously worked full time and found being a full-time mom wonderful, but I did miss the fulfillment that I received from my career. So, with my husbands support, I decided to become a breeder of Lady Gouldian Finches. In addition to the finches, I have recently ventured into offering bird supplies at my online store located at www.JustBirdStuff.com
The main goal for our finches is to provide a suitable and caring environment. I only breed our top birds to ensure that our stock is of the highest quality. I focus on providing my birds with the best environment, food and care I can provide to ensure their health.
